The JB Oxford "Astronaut" commercial was shot on film in Los Angeles using the actual set from the Tom Hanks movie Apollo 13, and one of the top Hollywood special effects stunt teams. And still the cost for our :60 spot was 70% less than the AAAA average for a :30 spot!
What's more, the AAAA survey does not include the 20% agency markup or the union residuals for performers.
